Description:

Narde (classic backgammon) is one of the oldest board games for two players. Its origins can be traced back to the ancient East, predating even Chinese Mahjong. Known by various names across different cultures, such as tablero in Spanish, a tavol in Italian, and a tavla or tawla in Turkish, Narde has gained worldwide recognition. It has been referred to simply as "board game" in some contexts, while in others it is known by unique names like plakoto or fevga in Greek, gulbar in Uzbek, and trictrac or trik-trak in French. The British refer to it as backgammon.
In Russian Narde (classic backgammon), players move their pieces according to the roll of dice, with the objective of removing all their pieces from the board before their opponent. As with many games of this nature, luck does play a role, but long-term success hinges on strategic decision-making. With each roll of the dice, players must weigh numerous options for moving their checkers while anticipating counter-moves by their opponent.
